Asiyah Atzilut Briyah Crowns Light Soul, The Ten Worlds Yetzirah Zeir Anpin

310. Rabbi Yehuda came to Rabbi Elazar and found him sitting with his hand in his mouth. He was sad. He asked him, With what is Sir occupied? He said to him that it is written, "In the light of the King's countenance is life" (Mishlei 16:15). If the Master is sad and especially IF HE weeps and wails, what do His ministers do? It is written, "Behold, the mighty ones shall cry outside" (Yeshayah 33:7). "...Outside..." meaning that their Master is within, AS IS WRITTEN, "MY SOUL WEEPS IN SECRET," and they are outside. Their Master is in the inner rooms, WHICH ARE IN ATZILUT, while they are in the outer rooms, WHICH ARE IN BRIYAH, YETZIRAH AND ASIYAH. HE ASKS, What are the inner rooms? Rabbi Yitzchak said, They are from the ten crowns of the King, MEANING OF THE TEN SFIROT OF ZEIR ANPIN IN ATZILUT.

310. רִבִּי יְהוּדָה עָאל לְגַבֵּיהּ דְּרִבִּי אֶלְעָזָר, אַשְׁכָּחֵיהּ דַּהֲוָה יָתִיב, וִידֵיהּ בְּפוּמֵיהּ, וַהֲוָה עֲצִיב. אָמַר לֵיהּ, בְּמָאי קָא עָסִיק מַר. אָמַר לֵיהּ דִּכְתִּיב, בְּאוֹר פְּנֵי מֶלֶךְ חַיִּים. אִי טַרְנָא עָצִיב, וכ"ש דְּגָעֵי וּבָכֵי, שַׁמָּשׁוֹי מַאי עַבְדֵי, הֲדָא הוּא דִּכְתִּיב, הֵן אֶרְאֶלָּם צָעֲקוּ חוּצָה. מַאי חוּצָה. מָרֵיהוֹן בְּגוֹ, וְאִינּוּן לְבַר. מָרֵיהוֹן בְּבָתֵּי גָּוָאי, וְאִינּוּן בְּבָתֵּי בָּרָאי. בָּתֵּי גָּוָאי מַאי אִינּוּן. אָמַר רִבִּי יִצְחָק, אִינּוּן מֵעֲשָׂרָה כִּתְרֵי מַלְכָּא.

Angels Heaven Heavens Judgment Peace

311. "The ambassadors of peace shall weep bitterly" (Ibid.). HE ASKS, Are there any angels who are not for peace? He said to him, Yes. Come and behold, there are angels who are of Severe Judgment, WHO ARE DRAWN FROM THE ASPECT OF GVURAH. There are those of Judgment not severe, WHO ARE DRAWN FROM MALCHUT. And there are those who have Judgment and Mercy WHO ARE DRAWN FROM TIFERET. And there are those of Mercy that contain no Judgment at all, WHO ARE DRAWN FROM BINAH, and they are called the 'angels of peace.' Pertaining to these ANGELS of below, WHICH ARE EXTERNAL, it is written, "I clothe the heavens with blackness, and I make sackcloth their covering" (Yeshayah 50:3) , "and all the host of heaven shall rot away" (Yeshayah 34:4).

311. מַלְאֲכֵי שָׁלוֹם מַר יִבְכָּיוּן, וְכִי יֵשׁ מַלְאָכִים שֶׁאֵינָם שֶׁל שָׁלוֹם. אָמַר לֵיהּ אִין. תָּא חֲזֵי, אִית מָארֵי דְּדִינָא קַשְׁיָא, וְאִית מָארֵי דְּדִינָא דְּלָא קַשְׁיָא, וְאִית מָארֵי דִּינָא וְרַחֲמָנוּתָא. וְאִית מָארֵי דְּרַחֲמָנוּתָא דְּלֵית בְּהוּ דִּינָא כְּלָל. וְאִלֵּין אִתְקְרוּן מַלְאֲכֵי שָׁלוֹם. וְעַל אִינּוּן דִּלְתַתָּא, כְּתִיב, אַלְבִּישׁ שָׁמַיִם קַדְרוּת וְשַׂק אָשִׂים כְּסוּתָם. וּכְתִיב וְנָמַקּוּ כָּל צְבָא הַשָּׁמַיִם.

312. HE ASKS, If this is so, then why do all the ministers who are appointed over the other nations enslave His children with heavy labor when they see that their Master is sad BECAUSE OF THE SUBJUGATION OF YISRAEL? Rabbi Elazar said, They only do that which is incumbent upon them, and they are doing the desire of their Master!

312. אִי הָכִי, כָּל אִינּוּן שׁוּלְטָנִין דִּמְמָנָן עַל שְׁאַר עַמִּין, כַּד חָמָאן לְמָרֵיהוֹן עָצִיב, לְמָאי עַבְדִין פָּרוֹכָא לִבְנוֹהִי. א"ר אֶלְעָזָר, לָא עַבְדִּי אֶלָּא מַאי דְּאִתְפְּקָדוּ, וּרְעוּתָא דְמָרֵיהוֹן עַבְדִּין.
