Body Face Holy Name Shabbat Throne World to Come, The Zion

192. It is written, "For Hashem has chosen Zion; He has desired it for His habitation" (Tehilim 132:13), that is, after Malchut separated FROM CLEAVING TO HIS BACK and cleaved to the King face to face on Shabbat night and everything became a single body. Then the Holy One, blessed be He, sits on His throne, and everything is considered a whole Name, a Holy Name, blessed be it forever and ever. I have brought all these matters up on this day so they will adorn it to the World to Come, and now they have been revealed here. Blessed is my portion WITH THEM.

192. כְּתִיב כִּי בָּחַר יְיָ' בְּצִיּוֹן אִוָהּ לְמוֹשָׁב לוֹ. כַּד אִתְפָּרְשַׁת מַטְרוֹנִיתָא, וְאִתְחֲבְּרַת בְּמַלְכָּא אַנְפִּין בְּאַנְפִּין, בְּמַעֲלֵי שַׁבְּתָא. אִתְעָבֵיד כֺּלָּא חַד גּוּפָא, וּכְדֵין יָתִיב קוּדְשָׁא בְּרִיךְ הוּא בְּכוּרְסְיֵיהּ. וְאִקְרֵי כֺּלָּא שְׁמָא שְׁלִים, שְׁמָא קַדִּישָׁא, בְּרִיךְ שְׁמֵיהּ לְעָלַם לְעָלְמֵי עָלְמִין. כָּל אִלֵּין מִלִּין סְלִיקְנָא עַד יוֹמָא דָּא, דְּאִתְעַטָּר בְּהוּ לְעָלְמָא דְּאָתֵי, וְהַשְׁתָּא אִתְגַּלְיָין הָכָא, זַכָּאָה חוּלָקִי.

193. When the Queen is united with the King, all the worlds are blessed and are in a state of complete joy. Just as the male is composed of three Columns, and the beginning is composed of three, NAMELY CHOCHMAH, BINAH AND DA'AT, so is everything, FOR THE BODY TOO IS COMPOSED OF THE TRIAD OF CHESED, GVURAH AND TIFERET, and the ending of the body, NETZACH, HOD AND YESOD. The Queen is blessed only from these three, Netzach, Hod and Yesod, and is sweetened and blessed from the place called the lower Holy of Holies, WHICH IS YESOD. FOR ARICH ANPIN AND ABA AND IMA ARE CALLED THE UPPER HOLY OF HOLIES, AND YESOD OF MALCHUT IS CALLED THE LOWER HOLY OF HOLIES, as it is written, "for there Hashem has commanded the blessing" (Tehilim 133:3), NAMELY IN ZION CALLED THE HOLY OF HOLIES. For there are two grades above and below, ZION AND JERUSALEM; YESOD OF MALCHUT IS CALLED ZION AND MALCHUT OF MALCHUT IS CALLED JERUSALEM, AND ZION IS CALLED THE HOLY OF HOLIES.

193. הַאי מַטְרוֹנִיתָא, כַּד אִתְחַבְּרַת עִם מַלְכָּא, כָּל עָלְמִין מִתְבָּרְכָן, וְאִשְׁתְּכָחוּ בְּחֶדְוָותָא דְּכֺלָּא. כְּמָה דִּדְכוּרָא כָּלִיל בִּתְלָתָא, וְשֵׁירוּתָא בִּתְלָתָא. כַּךְ כֺּלָּא הָכִי, וְסִיּוּמָא דְּכָל גּוּפָא הָכִי, וּמַטְרוֹנִיתָא לָא מִתְבָּרְכָא, אֶלָּא בִּכְלָלָא דִּתְלָתָא אִלֵּין, דְּאִינּוּן נֶצַח הוֹד יְסוֹד, וּמִתְבַּסְּמָא וּמִתְבָּרְכָא בַּאֲתָר דְּאִקְרֵי קֺדֶשׁ הַקֳּדָשִׁים דִּלְתַתָּא. דִּכְתִּיב, כִּי שָׁם צִוָּה יְיָ' אֶת הַבְּרָכָה. דְּהָא תְּרֵין דַּרְגִּין אִינּוּן לְעֵילָּא וְתַתָּא.

194. For that reason none is allowed into the Holy of Holies IN THIS WORLD except for the High Priest that comes from the aspect of Chesed, since no one enters that place above, THAT IS, YESOD OF MALCHUT CALLED ZION except that which is called Chesed OF ZEIR ANPIN, THE ASPECT OF THE HIGH PRIEST that enters the Holy of Holies. Malchut is mitigated and the Holy of Holies is blessed to its innermost, WHICH IS the place called Zion. Zion and Jerusalem are two grades, one Mercy and the other Judgment. Zion IS MERCY, as it is written, "Zion shall be redeemed with justice" (Yeshayah 1:27), JUSTICE BEING MERCY; Jerusalem IS JUDGMENT as it is written, "righteousness lodged in it" (Ibid. 21), RIGHTEOUSNESS BEING JUDGMENT as we explained.

194. ובג"כ לֵית רְשׁוּתָא לְמֵיעַל תַּמָּן, בַּר כַּהֲנָא רַבָּא, דְּאָתֵי מִן סִטְרָא דְּחֶסֶד. בְּגִין דְּלָא עַיֵּיל לְהַהוּא אֲתָר דִּלְעֵילָּא, אֶלָּא הַהוּא דְּאִקְרֵי חֶסֶד, וְעַיֵּיל בַּקֺּדֶשׁ הַקֳּדָשִׁים, וּמִתְבַּסְּמַת נוּקְבָּא. וּמִתְבָּרְכָא הַאי קֺדֶשׁ הַקֳּדָשִׁים בְּגוֹ לְגוֹ, אֲתָר דְּאִקְרֵי צִיּוֹן. צִיּוֹן וִירוּשְׁלֵם, תְּרֵין דַּרְגִּין אִינּוּן, חַד רַחֲמֵי, וְחַד דִּינָא. צִיּוֹן, דִּכְתִּיב צִיּוֹן בְּמִשְׁפָּט תִּפָּדֶה. יְרוּשְׁלֵים, דִּכְתִּיב צֶדֶק יָלִין בָּהּ כְּמָה דְּאוֹקִימְנָא.

195. The whole desire of the male, WHICH IS ZEIR ANPIN, towards Malchut is here IN ZION. It is called a blessing since from there blessings are issued to all the worlds and everyone is blessed. This place, ZION, is called holy, and all holies, NAMELY THE HOLY LIGHTS of the male, WHO IS ZEIR ANPIN, entered there the grade I mentioned, ZION, and all emerge from the supernal head of the skull of the male from the aspect of the lofty brain lobes that rest in it. That blessing flows FROM THE BRAIN LOBES to all the body parts, CHESED, GVURAH AND TIFERET, to those called hosts (Heb. Tzva'ot), NETZACH AND HOD, since all that plenty coming from the whole body is gathered there IN NETZACH AND HOD. Hence they are called hosts, since all the higher and lower hosts IN THE THREE WORLDS OF BRIYAH, YETZIRAH AND ASIYAH come out from them, FROM NETZACH AND HOD. And after that plenty gathers there IN NETZACH AND HOD it is placed in holy Yesod, which is entirely white, which is why it is called Chesed. That Chesed enters the Holy of Holies, as it is written, "for there Hashem has commanded the blessing, even life forever more."

195. וְכָל תִּיאוּבְתָּא דִּדְכוּרָא לְגַבֵּי נוּקְבָּא, הָכָא הוּא, וְקָרֵינָן לְהוּ בְּרָכָה, דְּמִתַּמָּן נַפְקֵי בִּרְכָּן לְכֻלְּהוּ עָלְמִין, וְכֻלְּהוּ מִתְבָּרְכָן. הַאי אֲתָר אִקְרֵי קֺדֶשׁ. וְכָל קֳדָשִׁים דִּדְכוּרָא עַיְילִין תַּמָּן, בְּהַהוּא דַּרְגָּא דַּאֲמֵינָא, וְכֻלְּהוּ אַתְיָין מֵרֵישָׁא עִלָּאָה דְּגוּלְגַּלְתָּא דִּדְכוּרָא, מִסִּטְרָא דְּמוֹחֵי עִלָּאֵי, דְּשַׁרְיָין בֵּיהּ, וְנָגִיד הַהִיא בְּרָכָה בְּכָל שַׁיְיפֵי גּוּפָא, עַד אִינּוּן דְּאִקְרוּן צְבָאוֹת. וְכָל הַהוּא נְגִידוּ דְּאִתְנְגִיד מִכָּל גּוּפָא, מִתְכַּנְּשֵׁי תַּמָּן, וע"ד אִקְרוּן צְבָאוֹת, דְּכָל צְבָאוֹת דְּעִלָּאִין וְתַתָּאִין תַּמָּן נָפְקִין. וְהַהוּא נְגִידוּ בָּתַר דְּאִתְכְּנִישׁ, תַּמָּן, שַׁרְיָין לֵיהּ בְּהַהוּא יְסוֹד קַדִּישָׁא, כֺּלָּא חִוָּורָא, בג"כ אִקְרֵי חֶסֶד. וְהַהוּא חֶסֶד עַיֵּיל לְקֺדֶשׁ הַקֳּדָשִׁים, דִּכְתִּיב כִּי שָׁם צִוָּה יְיָ' אֶת הַבְּרָכָה חַיִּים עַד הָעוֹלָם.
