The seventh Correction (formation) of the beard of Zeir Anpin

Synopsis

Here we learn that the mouth is clear because the hairs do not hang over it. Rabbi Yehuda says that the hosts or watchers are invested from the breath that leaves the mouth. Also when the breath spreads out of the mouth many faithful prophets get invested with the breath, and all are called the mouth of Hashem. This Correction (formation) dominates over all the six that precede it.

292. The seventh Correction (formation): The hairs do not hang over the mouth and the mouth is clear all around its sides. The hairs are well arranged surrounding it. Rise, Rabbi Yehuda. Rabbi Yehuda rose. He opened the discussion saying, "This matter is by the decree of the watchers" (Daniel 4:14). How many thousands of ten thousands are sustained and exist through this mouth and depend upon it, and all are called mouth. This is what is written: "And all the hosts of them by the breath of his mouth" (Tehilim 33:6). From that breath that leaves the mouth they are invested.

292. תִּקּוּנָא שְׁבִיעָאָה. דְּלָא תַּלְיָין שַׂעֲרָא עַל פּוּמָא, וּפוּמָא אִתְפְּנֵי מִכָּל סִטְרוֹי, וְיַתְבִין שַׂעְרִין בְּתִקּוּנָא סְחוֹר סְחוֹר לֵיהּ. קוּם רִבִּי יְהוּדָה. קָם רִבִּי יְהוּדָה, פָּתַח וְאָמַר, בִּגְזֵירַת עִירִין פִּתְגָּמָא. כְּמָה אֲלַף רִבְּבָן מִתְיַשְּׁבָן וּמִתְקַיְּימָן בְּהַאי פּוּמָא, וְתַלְיָין מִנֵּיהּ, וְכֻלְהוֹן אִקְרוּן פֶּה. הה"ד וּבְרוּחַ פִּיו כָּל צְבָאָם. וּמֵהַהוּא רוּחָא דְּנָפִיק מִפּוּמָא, מִתְלַבְּשָׁן.

293. All those that are outside are dependents of this mouth. Many faithful prophets are invested with the breath when it spreads out of this mouth, and all of them are called the mouth of Hashem. On the place where the breath exits, THAT IS THE MOUTH - nothing else is blended with it there. All wait to get invested with that breath that leaves THE MOUTH. This Correction (formation) dominates over all the six CORRECTIONS (FORMATIONS) THAT PRECEDE IT, since all prevail here and take hold. Therefore, the hairs are even around the mouth and the mouth itself is cleared FROM HAIR from all its sides. Rabbi Shimon said: Blessed are you to holy Atik.

293. כָּל אִינּוּן דִּלְבַר, תַּלְיָין מֵהַאי פּוּמָא. וּמֵהַאי פּוּמָא כַּד אִתְפָּשָׁט הַאי רוּחָא, מִתְלַבְּשָׁן בֵּיהּ כַּמָה נְבִיאֵי מְהֵימְנָא, וְכֻלְּהוּ פֶּה יְיָ' אִתְקְרוּן. וּבַאֲתָר דְּרוּחָא נָפִיק, לָא אִתְעָרְבָא מִלָּה אַחֲרָא וְכֻלְּהוּ מְחַכָּאן לְאִתְלַבְּשָׁא בְּהַהוּא רוּחָא דְּנָפִיק. וְהַאי תִּקּוּנָא שַׁלִּיטָא עַל כֻּלְּהוּ שִׁיתָא. מִשּׁוּם דְּהָכָא מִתְקַיְּימָן כֻּלְּהוּ וּמִתְאַחֲדָן. וּבְגִינֵי כַּךְ שַׂעְרוֹהי שְׁקִילִין סוֹחֲרָנֵיהּ דְּפוּמָא. וְאִתְפְּנֵי מִכָּל סִטְרוֹי, וְהַאי תִּקּוּנָא שַׁלִּיטָא עַל כֻּלְּהוּ מִשּׁוּם דְּהָכָא מִתְקַיְּימָן כֻּלְּהוּ וּמִתְאַחֲדָן. אָמַר ר"ש, בְּרִיךְ אַנְתְּ לְעַתִּיקא קַדִּישָׁא.
