The tenth and eleventh Corrections (formations)

Synopsis

Rabbi Yehuda talks about the fear of Hashem, and says that the tenth Correction (formation) is called "You will show truth to Jacob," while the eleventh is called "Loyal love to Abraham."

153. The tenth Correction (formation): The hairs go down under the beard and cover over the throat under the beard. Rise, Rabbi Yehuda. Rabbi Yehuda rose and opened the discussion saying, "And they shall go into the holes of the rocks, and into the caves of the earth, for fear of Hashem..." (Yeshayah 2:19). "For fear of Hashem:" It is well known that whoever is outside, THAT IS ZEIR ANPIN, is referred to as "fear of Hashem." "And for the glory of his majesty" (Ibid.): These are the hairs OF THE THROAT underneath the beard, which are referred to as "the glory of his majesty." There are two CORRECTIONS (FORMATIONS) WITHIN THEM, the tenth Correction (formation) called: "You will show truth to Jacob" (Micah 7:20), and the eleventh CORRECTION (FORMATION) that no hair goes out more than the other hair, MEANING THAT NO HAIR'S LENGTH IS LONGER THAN ITS NEIGHBOR'S, BUT THEY ARE ALL EQUAL IN LENGTH. THAT IS CALLED: "Loyal love to Abraham" (Ibid.).

153. תִּקּוּנָא עֲשִׁירָאָה. נַחְתִּין שַׂעְרֵי תְּחוֹת דִּיקְנָא, וְחַפְּיָין בִּגְרוֹנָא תְּחוֹת דִּיקְנָא. קוּם ר' יְהוּדָה. קָם ר' יְהוּדָה פָּתַח וְאָמַר, וּבָאוּ בִּמְעָרוֹת צוּרִים וּבִמְחִלּוֹת עָפָר מִפְּנֵי פַּחַד יְיָ' וְגוֹ.' מִפְּנֵי פַּחַד יְיָ,' הָא אִתְיְדַע דְּמַאן דְּאִיהוּ לְבַר, פַּחַד יְיָ' אִתְקְרֵי. וּמֵהֲדַר גְּאוֹנוֹ, אִינּוּן שַׂעְרֵי דִּתְחוֹת דִּיקְנָא, וְאִתְקְרוּן הֲדַר גְּאוֹנוֹ, תְּרֵי. תִּקּוּנָא עֲשִׂירָאָה, תִּתֵּן אֱמֶת לְיַעֲקֹב. וְחַד סָר, דְּלָא נַפְקֵי נִימָא מִן נִימָא, חֶסֶד לְאַבְרָהָם.
