284. (THE BEGINNING IS MISSING) goes and wishes to disturb the world. And the waters rise from other depths and want to flood the world. 284. אָזִיל וּבָעֵי לְאַרְגְּשָׁא עָלְמָא, וּמַיָא סְלִיקִין מִגּוֹ שְׁאַר תְּהוֹמִין, וּבָעָאן לְחַפְּיָא עָלְמָא, אִינּוּן דִּמְעִין רְתִיחִין יַתִּיר מִכָּל אֶשָּׁא דְּעָלְמָא. וּמִגּוֹ תּוֹקֶף דִּרְתִּיחוּ דִּלְהוֹן, אַקְפוּ מַיָּא, גּוֹ יַמָּא דְּנִקְפֵּא. וְאִלְמָלֵא דְּרָמַז קוּדְשָׁא בְּרִיךְ הוּא חַד נְשִׁיבוּ מִסִּטְרָא דְּאַבְרָהָם, מֵעַמוּדָא דִּילֵיהּ, וְאַחְזֵי עַל עָלְמָא, לָא יָכִיל לְמֵיקָם אֲפִילּוּ רִגְעָא חֲדָא.

285. When these tears drop into the sea, the sound between the waves is heard up to the cave of Machpelah. From the roaring sounds of the waves that is heard there when they enter the sea, the ancient patriarchs are awakened and rise, and think that the Holy One, blessed be He, wishes to turn the world upside down, until the voice comes out and tells them: Do not fear, holy beloved. Due to you, the Holy One, blessed be He, remembers your children and desires to redeem them, and you will see.

285. אִינּוּן דִּמְעִין כַּד נַפְלִין גּוֹ יַמָּא, אִשְׁתְּמַע קָלָא בֵּין יַמָּא, עַד מְעַרְתָּא דְּכַפֶּלְתָּא. מִקַל נְהִימוּ דִּלְהוֹן דְּקָא אִשְׁתְּמַע תַּמָּן, כַּד עָאלִין גּוֹ יַמָּא, מִתְעֲרָן אֲבָהָן קַדְמָאֵי, וְקָמוּ, וְחָשְׁבוּ דְקוּדְשָׁא בְּרִיךְ הוּא בָּעֵי לְאָהַפְּכָא עָלְמָא, עַד דְּקָלָא נָפִיק וְאָמַר לוֹן, לָא תִּדְחָלוּ רְחִימִין קַדִּישִׁין, בְּגִינֵכוֹן דָּכִיר קוּדְשָׁא בְּרִיךְ הוּא לִבְנֵיכוֹן, וְאִיהוּ בָּעֵי דְּמִפְרַק לוֹן, וְאַתּוּן תֶּחֱמוּן.
